Today I sat around mourning the loss of my sister. I've been missing her a lot lately. It seems like when things begin to get easier everything just falls back apart. While sitting around missing her I wrote this poem:
I sit here with tears in my eyes
wanting to break down and just cry
Nobody gets what I'm going through
And it seems that i have no one to turn to

I still wonder what I did wrong
Why I deserve to sit her and long;
For the love of my sister that is now gone

What did I do to deserve this life?
Why do I have to suffer night after night
No one's here to pick up the pieces
So I sit here with tears in my eyes,
Waiting to break down and just cry

Then God spoke to my heart and sent me a bible verse that really helped me. It was Ecclesiastes 3:1-8

There is a time for everything and a season for every activity under heaven
a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot,
a time to kill and a time to heal,
a time to tear down and a time to build,
a time to weep and a time to laugh,
a time to mourn and a time to dance,
a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,
a time to embrace and a time to refrain,
a time to search and a time to give up,
a time to keep and a time to throw away,
a time to tear and a time to mend,
a time to be silent and a time to speak,
a time to love and a time to hate,
a time for war and a time for peace.

With this verse I realized that God's plan is bigger than us. He lets us know that there is a time for everything. And now I realize that it was just my sister's time to go. She was able to live 21 years here on this earth and now she has gone home to be with her heavenly father. I don't have to worry anymore about her. For anyone who has ever had a death in their family I hope and pray that these verses will really help them out. If you put all your faith in God he will surely help you through your hard times.
